The purpose is to lead a healthy life by maintaining or regaining health and wellbeing.  At once, individual and holistic aspects are being constantly reviewed, - physically, mentally and spiritually. Due to its success, Ayurveda was recognized by the World Health Organization as medical science and often complements academic medicine.

Ayurveda & Yoga are complementing sister disciplines

Ayurveda, focusing on the body, and Yoga, focusing on the mind, are Indian sister disciplines.

While Yoga has conquered the world, there is unleashed potential for Ayurveda too.

Why? Annual surveys from the Robert-Koch-Institute point out that nutrition is a central aspect of health, and physical exercise too. Another learning is that mental heath issues is the number one sick leave reason in industrial countries.
